A LITTLE ABOUT MY SHOOTING STYLE
I love candid moments and real emotions between the people I get to photograph. During our session I’ll focus on helping you & your family pose by “prompting” you to do certain things in order to create a candid moment! Don’t worry, I’ll still get the standard smile at the camera poses, but those are never my favorites in your album, I prefer the ones where you look like you’re having fun and creating memories with your loved ones. As far as my editing style - I would describe it as true to life, rich, & golden! ( I love that light right before sunset!)
Now a little about the girl behind the camera!
I was born and raised in East, Tx and I don’t think I’ll ever leave! I love my home. I have a 7 year old little boy & an amazing boyfriend, & we are currently building a house together! They both fill my life with so much happiness, and keep me busy when I'm not taking photos or editing!
I’m very passionate about photography! So much so, that i’ve decided to make it my lifelong career. This isn’t just a hobby for me! I still look back on old photos of me, or of my son, and get that wave of nostalgia that is so special, and really is hard to even put into words! I want you to look back on the photos I capture for you and feel the same feeling one day!
A few things I love -
Thrifting! I get so excited to sift through and go on a treasure hunt. Garage sales, thrift stores, estate sales - count me in! I also rent out a booth space in my small town where I sell what I find!
Playing pool! I started playing pool (billiards) about 2.5 years ago and got addicted! I play on a team in an east Texas APA pool league, play in local tournaments, and you can find me & my boyfriend at the pool hall 9/10 when we have a night out!
Crafting! If it’s a craft, I’ve probably tried it at some point lol. Macrame, pour painting, jewelry making, clay earrings. My favorite crafts are finding an item while thrifting and repurposing it to give it a new life!
